A lot of people want to know just how far you have to go to get an acre of land without paying an outrageous price. If you are shopping for Boca Raton real estate I can’t find the a creature looking for you can drive about an hour away to Loxahatchee and find a nice medium priced home on an acre plus of land for a reasonable price.
Yes this is horse country and you may be dropping some of the conveniences of a more metropolitan city but if you like peace and quiet open spaces and a larger piece of property this is definitely a town to consider.
You just head north to Southern Boulevard and head west out to Pratt & Whitney and take a right and drive miles north and you’ll see House after house with over an acre plus of land between 100,000 and $200,000. Most of the properties in the hundred thousand range are foreclosures or short sales and need a lot of work. When you’re through fixing the property you’ll have your own state.
